Great product and process
Written By: D. Broughton ~ 10/27/2021

I have granite countertops that had numerous pits which were unsightly and difficult to clean. Corey from Second Wind Restorations has a great product and process which filled them all quickly (a couple hours) without any chemical odor. The countertops look great and I was able to use the kitchen immediately!

Resurface Carrera Marble Countertop
Written By: Corey Thompson ~ 10/27/2021

This job was to resurface Carrera Marble countertop and Island.
The Island was badly etched and stained next to the island sink and all surfaces were etched and scratched by daily family use or a period of some years.

Polished vs Honed & Enhanced vs Natural
Written By: Corey Thompson ~ 10/25/2021

BLOGPOST_HonedVSPolished2021_s.jpg

This is a Travertine tile, one half is polished and the other half is honed.  There are pros and cons to both finishes, I can provide either surface and in fact varying levels of both.

This is an example of color enhancing.  The material is Limestone but this process is commonly used on Travertine as well to provide a darker color than naturally occurring.  Often it leads to greater depth of color and contrast in the stone.
